Last day
I started with a round of 9 holes of golf. Very beautiful morning and I started early enough that it wasn't hot. I kinda played like crap though. We will probably hike falls Canyon today.

Racetrack
A hot morning
A warm morning with clear skies. It's going to be a hot 1 today. It is so warm when we got up that we need the awning out. not complaining though!

The day was, well, complicated.
Another windy night that was hard on sleep, dead rv batteries in the middle of the night so co2 alarm starts blaring. Really windy weather when we're trying to eat breakfast. But then a fantastic Canyon hike. This is Marble Canyon. And now back in camp for dinner and its hot and zero wind. you gotta love this place.

Star Gazing
The park personnel set up these red night vision friendly lights to guide us out to the dark area where the telescopes were. Very magical feeling.
Ashford Canyon Hike
We saw some nice flowers on this hike. We hiked up to an old mining camp which was fun. Sarah is signing a log book at the mining camp which was stored in the old refrigerator to protect it from the weather and critters. This hike was at the very southern end of the valley one we have never done before.
Saturday
Today we are off to do some new hikes at the southern end of the valley. Last night they had a star party with four telescopes behind the visitors center. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and the stars were a little hazy but it was still a lot of fun.
