Made it here and I'm spending the night. Weather was initially nice in Central Oregon but things started to get really overcast and a little rainy in the Fort Rock area. Was pretty windy when I arrived here at the hot springs but has now calmed down. It was a little dark in the bathhouse for a picture without the flash but I didn't want to frighten the Halloween ghosts.
On another Death Valley trip! I'm leaving today and taking 5 days to drive down to Las Vegas arriving Friday. Mom will fly to Las Vegas Friday evening and then Sunday we're heading down to Death Valley for the 49ers Music Festival. Watch the blog and I'll be posting my travels on the trip down. I chose this picture to be hopeful about the weather cuz the weather sure sucks here!
