The wind really picked up last night a lot. There were a lot of flatened tents on the ground this morning. For some reason I actually put away everything the night before so we didn't lose anything in the Wind. Pretty mediocre night of sleep even for us.

Last Night
Love these evenings. But 20 mph winds tonight I guess. None now. Lots of tents in overflow so will be tough for them.
He made it
Dantes view! that was a tough tough ride. My legs cramped up about a hundred feet from the top and I had to stop. Nice flowers on the way up. Here is a picture of the German tourists that joined us for a hike as well as around the fire for a couple of nights.

Thursday
A long drive and a long hike to the Panamint Dunes. We were joined on the hike by a German tourist. He took the photo of us.

Wednesday Afternoon
A short hike to the ridge east of camp. It's funny that that concrete panel that you threw is still sticking up out of the ground Sam! No wind now!

Wind update
A bit more wind now. Blowing dust. Tent campers have a tough go of it. Some have blown over and we saw one window break on an rv when the wind blew the door open. Hourly forecast looks good tho. Calm tomorrow.

More Museums
After lunch we went to the mob museum and the neon bone yard. Both interesting and fun. The tour guide at the neon boneyard was really really into signs. He talked about rescuing them like you would talk about rescuing a lost animal. We didn't get any photos at the Mob Museum because they didn't allow photographs.
