Sunday afternoon

I got out for a ride today towards badwater Basin but it was a little too hot and so I turned around at the halfway point and came back.

I rode around Furnace Creek a little today and signs of construction are around. I guess in April they're going to start tearing down buildings and building new more stylish buildings in kind of a Spanish mission style I guess?

I spent the last hour finally cleaning my bike which I haven't done in a year-and-a-half I suppose. I also replaced the rear tire which should have been replaced some time ago, it had exposed threads in a few places.
